Cover the Uninsured Week is coming up and we have 2 events planned. Please plan to attend both these events, and invite friends and forward this email widely. (Apologies to those of you who get duplicates!)

Monday May 1, Hoosiers for a Commonsense Health Plan is sponsoring the world premier of a new film from the Media Education Foundation, "BIg Bucks, BIg Pharma: Marketing Disease & Pushing Drugs." The film's producer Ronit Ridberg will be present to answer questions and lead discussion afterward.

Location: Wegmiller Auditorium at Bloomington Hospital, 601 W. 2nd Street.

Time: 7-9 PM. Free and open to the public.

Wednesday May 3, Bloomington Hospital and Hoosiers for a Commonsense Health Plan are sponsoring a community forum for Cover the Uninsured Week. Featured speakers will be Dr. Edwin Marshall from the IU School of Optometry and the IU School of Medicine Department of Public Health, talking on "The Public's Health At-Risk: The Business of Disparate Care," and Dr. Rob Stone, emergency physician and medical director of the Community Health Access Program will talk on "Healthcare For All." The moderator will be Mark Moore, CEO of Bloomington Hospital.

Location: Wegmiller Auditorium at Bloomington Hospital, 601 W. 2nd Street.

Time: 7-9 PM. Free and open to the public.
